Cat® Credits are a credit discount you can use at participating Cat dealers toward parts, service, work tools, rebuilds and rentals of Cat equipment. Use Cat Credits to pay for qualifying purchases through an approved Cat online retailer – either parts.cat.com or Cat Central – or over the counter at your local Cat dealer or The Cat Rental Store. Here’s how to earn and redeem them.
The most common way to earn Cat Credits is through special promotions: Caterpillar, your Cat dealer, or Cat Financial may offer Cat Credits as part of a special offer or incentive. Participate and you get to take home those credits.
The Cat Credits you've earned are sent via an emailed certificate.
Use them on parts.cat.com and Cat Central by simply entering your Cat Credits Certificate Number when you log in and your available credits will display on the screen. You can also use them at the counter at your Cat dealer and at The Cat Rental Store. It’s simple. Just print the electronic certificate attached to the email and bring it with you. Or just show your dealer the certificate on your phone.
Whatever you need to get the job done and grow your business, chances are you can use Cat Credits to help pay for it. That includes:
What you can’t buy with Cat Credits
You can’t purchase new or used equipment with Cat Credits. You also can’t apply them toward items purchased for personal, family or household use; apply them to a dealer house account; or use them to pay down existing debt. See Cat Credits Rules below for more details.
Cat Credits do expire, so make sure to check the expiration date on your electronic certificate and look out for expiration date reminder emails from Cat Financial. Expiration dates may vary and once that date passes, you won’t be able to access any unused credits. Your dealer can’t extend the expiration date, either. Neither Caterpillar nor any of its dealers are responsible for lost or stolen Cat Credits.
