Backhoe Loader
Diesel exhaust fluid, or DEF, is required in all Tier IV Final compliant engines, like the one powering your Cat® 440 and 450 Backhoe Loaders. A gauge on the side of your DEF tank shows you its current fluid level. Watch this video and consult your Operations and Maintenance Manual for more information.
