Switch Attachments with Your FusionTM Quick Coupler
It’s never been easier to change attachments on your wheel loader than with the Cat® FusionTM quick coupler. Gone are the days of hammering in and out a bulky metal pin to manually couple and uncouple attachments. You get back to work faster, and your machine is more versatile than ever before.

Let’s look at a quick video that shows how a Cat® FusionTM quick coupler operates.

The quick coupler uses a hydraulic system and wedges to make coupling and uncoupling attachments easier than ever.
COUPLING ATTACHMENTS [00:25]
Position the attachment on a level surface.
Line up your quick coupler with the attachment and raise the quick coupler until it meets the hooks on the attachment.
Raise and tilt the quick coupler backward to engage with the attachment.
In the cab, to your right is the lock-unlock switch. Flip up the red tab and press and hold the top of the switch. This engages the coupler wedges and locks the quick coupler to the attachment.
Lower the attachment with down pressure to ensure that it’s securely locked to the quick coupler.
UNCOUPLING ATTACHMENTS [01:09]
Engage the quick coupler lock-unlock switch while holding up the red tab. Press and hold it to unlock the quick coupler.
Lower the attachment to the ground.
Uncurl the quick coupler and back away.
