• Genuine Cat new and Cat Reman parts are covered by a 12-month Caterpillar Limited Warranty¹ against Caterpillar defects in material and/or workmanship.

• Cat Reman heavy-duty engines are covered by a 24-month Caterpillar Limited Warranty¹ against Caterpillar defects in material and/or workmanship.

• Cat Reman medium-duty engines are covered by a 36-month, 150,000 miles or 3,600 hours Caterpillar Limited Warranty¹ against Caterpillar defects in material and/or workmanship, plus towing coverage for the first 12 months.

Overhaul Protection for Trucks (OPT)

Overhaul Protection for Cat on-highway truck engines is an ESC program for engine components that either pass inspection or are replaced at the time of service. This plan covers you when your authorized Cat dealer performs an overhaul to Caterpillar specifications and OPT guidelines. It covers parts installation labor and repairer labor costs for covered component repairs due to defects in materials, factory and dealer workmanship, and resultant damage. Cat Engine Overhaul Protection is available for Cat on-highway truck engines in 18, 24, 36 or 48 months.

Precious Metals Kit ESC

ESC is available for bronze, silver, gold and platinum precious metals kits — for medium-duty and heavy-duty Cat truck engines. Precious metals kit ESC is also available for titanium and HEUI fuel system kits for medium-duty engines.

The Precious Metals ESC plan covers parts and labor costs on covered component failures. It also covers any resultant damage to other Cat components as a result of those failures. These kits are sold over the counter or through the shop and don’t have mileage or hour limitations. Coverage is available for 24, 36 or 48 months.

Component Plus ESC

Protect qualified Cat on-highway truck engine components from failure with Cat Component Plus ESC.
