Kansas School District Supports Essential Data Center With Cat Backup Power
When Shawnee Heights USD 450 needed a more robust backup power source for its centralized data center, the district turned to Caterpillar to install a DG150-2 natural gas-fueled generator set. The district added Cat Connect Remote Asset Monitoring to ensure they are notified of any issues with the generator when they arise. Through a Customer Value Agreement with Foley Power Solutions as well as Extended Service Coverage, Shawnee Heights receives regular generator set maintenance to ensure it optimum performance throughout its lifecycle.
