Engine Lubrication System
With our lubricating oil system retrofit for all M 20 series engine types, you can maintain your oil system and keep it clean and healthy. Maintaining the lubricating oil separator is made easier by a centrifugal filter with a pump added to the bypass. The centrifugal filter can even be operated when the engine is not operating to achieve continuous lubricating oil treatment.
The newly developed strainer consists of a plissé with a unique mesh capable of withstanding a significantly higher load. Furthermore, an optimized weaving technique has increased the filter area to keep the previous screening surface load constant and achieve high efficiency.
Retrofitting this system offers the following benefits:
- Longer oil change intervals
- More effective seperation of fine-grained catalysts
- Decreased risk of damage due to a finer mesh size and an increased filter surface in the automatic filter
- Increased filter life
