The aftermarket area at MINExpo 2024 showcased three Cat® Detect solutions that can be used to enhance the safety of your operations. Visitors had the opportunity to try out all three on the show floor.

Cat Seat Belt Reminder 

Wearing a seat belt is one of the easiest, most effective ways for equipment operators to stay safe. The Cat Seat Belt Reminder uses visual and audible alerts to prompt equipment operators to buckle up every time — and stay buckled throughout the entire shift.

Cat Detect with Smart Camera

Cat Detect with Smart Camera provides additional views behind the machine, plus intelligent in-cab alerts that notify operators when people come in close proximity. These rugged smart cameras monitor people as they move around equipment and alert operators to ever-changing site conditions.

Cat Detect Driver Safety System

Fatigued and distracted equipment operators can pose a severe risk to themselves and others. The consequences can be costly, even fatal. The Driver Safety System (DSS) is an in-cab detection technology that can help identify and address fatigue and distraction events, enhancing operator safety.
