Cat® Credits are an immediate credit discount you can use toward your next qualifying Cat purchase. Save your cash and use Cat Credits to pay for qualifying purchases including parts and services over the counter at your local Cat dealer or through an approved Cat online retailer, either parts.cat.com or Cat Central. Here’s how to earn and redeem them.
The most common way to earn Cat Credits is through special promotions: Caterpillar, your Cat dealer, or Cat Financial may offer Cat Credits as part of a special offer or incentive. Participate and you get to take home those credits.
One easy way to earn Cat Credits is through Cat Vantage Rewards. Customers enrolled in Cat Vantage Rewards can earn reward points on purchases.

Cat Credits come to you via an emailed certificate from Cat Financial after you receive an award of Cat Credits through a promotional program or redeem Cat Vantage Points.
Apply them at the counter at your Cat dealer. It’s simple. Just print the electronic certificate attached to the email and bring it with you. Or just show your dealer the certificate on your phone. You can also choose Cat Credits as your payment method on parts.cat.com and Cat Central. Simply enter the certificate number to apply credits when you check out online or in the app.
Whatever you need to get the job done and grow your business, chances are you can use Cat Credits to help pay for it. That includes:
What you can’t buy with Cat Credits
You can’t purchase new or used equipment with Cat Credits. You also can’t apply them toward items purchased for personal, family or household use; apply them to a dealer house account; or use them to pay down existing debt.
Cat Credits do expire, so make sure to check the expiration date on your electronic certificate. Expiration dates may vary, but you typically have one year from the day your Cat Credits are issued to use them. Once that expiration date passes, you won’t be able to access any unused credits. Your dealer can’t extend the expiration date, either. Neither Caterpillar nor any of its dealers are responsible for lost or stolen Cat Credits.
