Set Up Your Excavator Operator Profile
When multiple operators use the same machine on a jobsite, you may find everything you set up last time you worked has been completely wiped clean. With an excavator operator profile, you don't have to waste valuable minutes configuring your preferred settings every time you hop in your Cat® excavator.

Once you create your profile, just sign in with your four-digit passcode or Bluetooth key. And you’ll notice even the little things, like preferred radio volume and HVAC temperature, can make all the difference as you set out to get a job done.
From the operator setting menu on your Next Generation Cat® excavator monitor, configure operator inputs and response, plus change who's signed in or manage/add profiles. You can also adjust and preset:
Joystick patterns
Button configurations
Hydraulic spool response
Cat Payload
Work settings
Radio preferences
HVAC preferences
CREATING A PROFILE [00:30]
Press the apps button to navigate to settings, and then operator setting.
Select add operator.
Choose what type of key you'll use; either four-digit passcode or Bluetooth key.
Select either standard or master access level.
Type in an operator name.
Create a unique passcode if that is your chosen key type.
GUEST, STANDARD OR MASTER?
Guest is the default excavator operator profile on machine startup. In order to have access to more screens and settings, you'll need to sign into your saved profile. Master-level operators have the most access and are the only ones who can operate functions such as the reversing fan.
